Site work and paving for a civil project in Roy, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of removing and replacing existing secondary water valves on existing waterlines at various locations. The work also includes: asphalt repair, traffic control, site clean-up and all other related appurtenance and associated work as indicated in the Contract Documents. LOCATION OF WORK: The work is in various locations in Roy City, Utah. All work specified in the contract documents shall be completed prior to April 1, 2023. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to Roy Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract, secure payment of Worker's Compensation insurance and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price. All questions relative to this project prior to opening of bids shall be directed to the Project Engineer at 801-775-9191. No specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any "or equal" products be considered for approval prior to award of contract. Roy Water Conservancy District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City.
