The project is expected to be awarded on February 21, 2023.** The City of Park Ridge would like to receive bids to rehab and restore approximately 9,064 linear feet of sewer lines in the City according to specifications listed in this document. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope marked with the Bid name and number listed above. Bids transmitted by fax or email will not be accepted. Any communication regarding this invitation between the date of issue and date of award is to be in writing and directed to the Procurement Officer listed below. Answers to questions submitted in writing may be distributed as an addendum to this Invitation to Bid. Unauthorized contact with other City Employees is strictly forbidden. After the bids are opened no bidder may communicate with the City about the contents of their bid or any other bid except in response to direct questions. This project includes quantities for 9,064 linear feet of sanitary and storm sewer lining in various sizes of curedin-place pipe lining (CIPP), rehabilitation and restoration of structural integrity of the existing sanitary and storm sewer pipes by the Inversion and Curing of a Resin-Impregnated Tube process and all related and ancillary work. The work contained on this project is located within easements or right-of-ways of the City of Park Ridge and IDOT. The City further reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the municipality. The Contractor is required to furnish a maintenance bond approved by the municipality in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the contract price in the form of invoice retainage. This bond shall provide a guarantee against defective materials and workmanship on all materials, items and work furnished under this contract, including contract changes and additions for a period of one year from date of written final project acceptance and final payment. If within the guarantee one (1) year project acceptance and final payment period, any defects or signs of deterioration are noted which, in the opinion of the municipality, are due to the faulty installation, workmanship, or materials, the municipality shall notify the Contractor. At the Contractor's expense, the Contractor agrees to make any and all repairs, adjustments or replacements to correct the condition/s to the complete satisfaction of the City.
