The City of Sioux Falls, SD, requests formal bids for E. 57th St. Expansion - Veterans Parkway to S. Six Mile Road Grading, Utility and Surfacing Improvements The City of Sioux Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of Sioux Falls, SD.1. Close 57 th Street and Six Mile Road as specified in the Traffic Control Plans. 2. Install applicable erosion control measures and complete necessary removals. 3. Complete utility installation (sanitary sewer, watermain, box culvert, storm sewer, storm sewer inlets). 4. Complete street grading to subgrade elevations. 5. Complete edge drains and roadway lighting, traffic conduit within the street section. 6. Install cement treated base, aggregate base course, concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, median pavement and concrete sidewalk. 7. Install remaining lighting and traffic signal items (light bases, junction boxes, meters). 8. Complete final grading (topsoil). 9. Install permanent signage and pavement markings. 10. Complete permanent stabilization (sodding, seeding, fertilizing, hydromulching, weed control and watering for vegetation) and permanent erosion control items within the specified seeding window. Anticipated start date of construction is April 1, 2023.
