Renovation of a stadium in Waterloo, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
The City of Waterloo (the "City") invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for construction services (the "Work") for a roof replacement over the main span (arena) and (potential) rooftop solar Photovoltaic (PV) installation at a City curling club facility, referred to as Rink in the Park, located at 99 Seagram Drive in Waterloo, Ontario. The construction services include the supply of labor, equipment, and materials associated with preparing existing metal cladding and installing new elastomeric coating, new prefinished sheet metal roofing panels. The City is replacing the existing sloped metal roof over the curling ice surface (arena) and intends to explore replacing the roof with an insulated metal panel roofing system, and potentially integrating solar panels depending on the outcome of the solar PV assessment.
