The proposed project includes the following: To conduct an evaluation and study of prospective sites suitable for design and potential construction for a new outdoor public swimming pool for Alleghany County, NC. To provide Design and Contract Administration for the designated pool should the Board of Commissioners decide to pursue such ability after the requested site evaluation study has been reviewed and evaluated accordingly. Applicants should have extensive design knowledge and abilities as they relate to outdoor pool settings, design and construction. Considerable contract administration experience is also highly sought when submitting the information. Any design work should be in keeping with the building traditions associated with Alleghany County. Alleghany County may select a single firm for the project or may choose to select separate firms accordingly or make no selection at all. If a firm(s) is selected, the firm will be employed by the Alleghany County Board of Commissioners and will work in conjunction with the County Manager or his designee. For the purpose of this Request for Qualifications, Alleghany County is either the owner of selected properties or will have the ability to enter other properties for the purposes of review and evaluation should they be needed.
