Site work and paving for a road / highway in Puyallup, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of August 14, 2024, this project is in the design phase. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The City of Puyallup, in accordance with Chapter 39.80 RCW, hereby requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for the above-named project. Interested consultants must submit a SOQ as outlined in this request. The Meeker Festival Street Conceptual Design Project is to look at creating a festival street on East Meeker between Meridian and 3rd Street to support recurring temporary closures to vehicle traffic for the purpose of pedestrian oriented activities and the connection of the downtown to Meeker Mansion. The services required for this project include conducting community engagement, developing a design concept for the festival street, and preparing conceptual cost estimate for budgeting purposes. The total project budget, including design and construction, is approximately $6,500,000 in 2022 dollars. The work to be performed by the DESIGN FIRM is further described in the Preliminary Scope of Work below. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
