Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Sainte-Therese, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
Second phase of the Lionel-Groulx College expansion that will follow the first phase of the construction program and will allow to increase the current capacity of 4,800 places to 7,055 study places. The project provides for an increase in educational space of approximately 10,000 m2 net including the "physical education" category representing a redevelopment portion of the order of 5,800 m2. Part of the services provided by the College will, over time, be relocated to Saint-Eustache. The scope of the project and its budget are being finalized. Note. The project is included in the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat list of the projects with a value equal or exceeding $20 million - project number 837. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary. The awarded architectural consulting firm Marosi Troy Architectes has completed a real estate analysis and concept establishment of the project. The Quebec government is investing $7.5 million to support the implementation of plans and specifications for a project to improve the real estate portfolio of Collège Lionel-Groulx, in Sainte-Thérèse. Project design is expected to begin in fall 2026. Further update in that time. Note. The first expansion phase project is followed in the report under CRM ID name Expansion Phase 1.
