Site work and paving for a civil project in Goliad, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 5,732 SY 2-Course chip seal 6,358 SY Prime with RC-250 and Gr. 5 rock, Uncoated 5,713 SY 8 Mix base and compact 869 TONS added limestone base 4,507 LF Regrade ditch 686 LF remove and replace culverts; various sizes Other appurtenant items A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Goliad County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond Goliad County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Goliad County for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders qualifications prior to the contract award All contractors/subcontractors who are not registered with the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) or are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project The deadline to ask questions is 1/26/2023 5:00 PM CST
