Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Municipality of the County of Inverness is seeking proposals for the purchase, installation and preventative maintenance of permanent back-up generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), vandal and weather protected enclosures and surge protection for three (3) different Municipal Properties located at the Port Hood Water Treatment Plant, Whycocomagh Water Treatment Plant and the Mabou Wastewater Treatment Plant, all within the Municipality of the County of Inverness. A Preventative Maintenance Services Contract (every year) for a period of five (5) years will be required after the RFP is awarded. The Municipality is requiring Proponents to visit the identified locations, assess the appropriate requirements, and submit proposals which will detail the scope of work necessary and costs for a permanent generator system for each of the three (3) locations and an annual preventative maintenance contract for a period of five (5) years.
