Renovation of a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The contractor is to procure and install a new MCC in the proposed building, inclusive of all appurtenances. The existing MCC is to be removed and disposed of properly. Work also includes limited site piping for future chemical rooms. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or acceptable Bid Bond, payable to Reid Road MUD No. 01, in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum Bid price submitted, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract within Ten (10) days after receipt of the contract documents. Check shall be drawn on a responsible bank in the state and a bid bond shall be issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the state. The right is reserved, as the interest of the district may require, to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Additionally, 24 hours after bids are opened, they cannot be withdrawn. 2012-046-03-01
