construction services for the NRCS wetland restoration Eastment The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) in partnership with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has designed the Wetland Restoration of Fish-Eating Creek WRE (approx. 36,000 acres). The FWS is seeking a contract to complete the restoration of the Southern section of Carlton Easement west of Fish Eating Creek. This project will be located on private property that is within the legal boundaries of an NRCS Wetland Restoration Easement. The closest road access is at the intersection of Footman Trail Rd and Hwy 70 heading west from lake placid, FL. The property is a working cattle ranch, and all gates are locked. No access will be granted except for the pre-proposal meeting . The work that shall be completed is the identified in the provided bid schedule. Not all work in the construction plans will be completed. The entire plan is provided for reference. Question Deadline 01/27/2023 at 5:00 PM ET - Contractors shall submit any questions on this project directly to Khanhthong_Moody@fws.govby . Questions will be consolidated and answers provided by issuance of an amendment directly thereafter.
