Renovation of a mixed-use development in Upland, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and library.

The Project includes but is not limited to: the removal of existing gravel over built-up roofing and replacement with new fluid applied roofing material over existing built-up, installation of new fluid applied roofing material over existing built-up smooth surface roofing system, replacement of parapet coping cap assembly, replacement of roof expansion joint cover, replacement of roof drip edge metal flashing, replacement of gutters with associated downspouts, and repair, patch and paint existing mechanical screen The Department of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract that will be awarded to the successful bidder, copies of which are available to the public on the internet at http://www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR/ or from the District Office, upon request. The successful bidder and all subcontractor(s) shall comply with all applicable Labor Code provisions, which include, but are not limited to, the payment of not less than the required prevailing rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the Contract, the employment of apprentices, the hours of labor and the debarment of contractors and subcontractors. Each Bidder submitting a bid must be a Department of Industrial Relations registered contractor pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 (DIR Registered Contractor), unless an exception expressly provided in the Labor Code applies. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. If awarded the Contract, at all times during the performance of the work, the Bidder and all Subcontractors of any tier shall be DIR Registered Contractors and continue to comply with all DIR requirements. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following classifications: General Construction (B) No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted. In contracts involving expenditures in excess of $25,000.00, the successful bidder shall file a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety authorized to conduct business in California. A performance bond will also be required. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding process
