This contract includes the work necessary to construct approximately 915 linear feet of new storm sewer pipe along Ocoee Apopka Road and Woodland Drive, construct associated inlets and manhole structures for the storm sewer, and remove existing storm sewer, cross drains, and associated structures as called out in the plans. Additionally, the contract includes earthwork in an existing, county-owned retention pond (Pond 6766). Captured stormwater will be conveyed to Pond 6766 which will require a portion of the storm sewer along Woodland Drive to be upsized and the retention pond to be graded to provide additional storage capacity. Construction of the proposed work will occur within existing rights-of-way and easements. The work required to complete the project includes, but is not limited to, installation and removal of the above items, construction of shallow swales, incidental grading to inlets, and reconstruction of other existing infrastructure and driveways along the storm sewer. In order to construct the proposed improvements, the work also includes activities related to mobilization, clearing and grubbing, site grading, temporary traffic control, erosion control countermeasures and site restoration. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, quality control, tools, transportation, supplies, and manpower as well as pay for any applicable fees to complete the work specified in this contract.
