Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Lakeland, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.

The City of Lakeland is Seeking Bids From Qualified Contractors to Renovate Existing Activity Room at Kelly Recreation Complex to Create a Small Library Branch. The Activity Room and Adjoining Small Office Are Located on the First Floor at Kelly Rec and Comprise Approximately 1000 Sq. Ft. The Room's Existing Entrance, as Well as the Existing Built-in Desk and Office Walls Would Be Removed as Part of the Project, With a New Storefront Glass Entrance and Defined Office Space. The Majority of Existing Flooring Would Remain, With Carpet Being Added in Half of the Room. The Acoustical Ceiling Above the Small Office Area Would Be Replaced, but Otherwise, Primarily the Construction Focuses on Revamping the Entrance and Office Space of the Room, With an Additional Exit Door to the Existing Outdoor Patio Area of the Facility and Updating Lighting and Finishes. When Completed, Kelly Branch Library Will House a Small Collection of Library Materials and Seating for the Public. the Bids Submitted and the Purchase Order Contract, if Awarded, Shall Be in Complete Accordance With, Without Limitation, This Invitation to Bid, Drawings and Specifications Attached, All Codes, Requirements and Regulations Referenced Therein.
