The project is expected to be awarded on April 12, 2023.**  Furnish all labor, materials and equipment services required for the Sound System at Westminster High School project, 1225 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157. Install new Auditorium Sound System at Westminster high school. The start date of the work is June 19, 2023 and the end date is August 15, 2023 The basic scope of work includes the following: a. LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM i. The loudspeaker system shall have the following performance parameters within the audience seating areas: 1. Maximum overall sound pressure level of 105 dBA. 2. Maximum sound level spatial uniformity within +- 3 dB for the 500, 1000, 2000, 4000, and 8000 Hz octave frequency bands. 3. Minimum speech intelligibility STI of 0.60. 4. Freedom from spurious noised, oscillation, and RFI interference by the system electronic equipment and freedom from audible rattles by loudspeakers. Install new digital mixing system snake, equivalent to RIO3224-D2, into existing Stage sound system rack. The location of the Stage rack is to be confirmed with CCPS and Westminster High School staff. Install new digital mixing system snake, or Dante-equipped, programmable DSP in the existing Control Room rack for interfacing the school's wireless microphones (multichannel) and an assistive listening system (monaural program audio) with the digital mixing system. Provide a new, dedicated gigabit Ethernet network with redundancy for the new digital audio mixing system. Port capacity, performance specifications, and interfacing/topology of new managed network switches shall accommodate future expansion of the performance audio system, future 3rd party network-based control system, and future AV-over-IP distribution system based on Crestron NVX, Q-Sys, and/or NDI. Provide newnetwork switches equivalent to Cisco CBS350-24P-4X (primary) and Cisco CBS350-8TE-2G (secondary) or similar from the NETGEAR M4300 series for the new gigabit Ethernet network. Install new wall boxes on the Stage apron and at Stage left, Stage right, upstage left, and upstage right to extend and distribute microphone inputs (female XLR jacks), lineoutputs (male XLR jacks), and monitor loudspeaker outputs (Speakon connectors) from digital snake box in the Stage equipment rack around the Stage. Jack distribution, wall box sizes, and wall box locations shall be coordinated with CCPS and Westminster High School staff to accommodate all inputs/outputs from the Stage snake box. a. LOUDSPEAKER SYTEM i. Alternate #1 - Provide six (6) portable front-fill loudspeakers, equal to Yamaha IF2108, on the front lip of the Stage to provide supplemental sound coverage to the front seating rows. ii. Alternate #2 - Provide four (4) two-way monitor loudspeakers (Stage wedges), equal to Yamaha CBR12, for use on the Stage or in the "Orchestra Pit" area in front of the Stage. b. PERFORMANCE AUDIO SYSTEM i. Alternate # 3 - Provide one (1) new dedicated Front of House (FOH) mixing desk at the existing orchestra level FOH location and/or at a new balcony FOH location. Desk shall be equal to HSA, Inc. rolltop desk. ii. Alternate #4 - Provide a new digital wireless assistive listening system, equal to Listen Technologies iDSP Prime Level III Stationary RF System (72 MHz), for people with hearing disabilities. System should include the number of receivers necessary to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
