Site work for a mixed-use development in Suffern, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
This capital project is to provide funding for the design and construction of new replacement tennis courts. The existing six tennis courts have reached their useful life expectancy and require replacement. The courts are no longer safe to practice and play tennis matches on. They present a potential safety concern with players being injured. The court surfaces are worn, cracked, delaminating and uneven. The new replacement courts will utilize current tennis standards with the design, materials and equipment. Included with the courts replacement is fencing, drainage, bench seating, landscaping and all other related materials, items, equipment to make the courts fully functional. The project is included in the Rockland County 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
