Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Baytown, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,200-square-foot water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
As of January 17, 2024, this project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Plans call for the demolition of the existing plant operations building and construction of a new plant operations building; the replacement of the existing ras pumps and was pumps at clarifiers 2 and 3 and all associated improvements. The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to demolish the existing Plant Operations Building and construct a new Plant Operations Building, and replace the existing RAS and WAS pumps at Clarifiers 2 and 3 at the City of Baytown East District Wastewater Treatment Plant (ED WWTP) and all other necessary appurtenances for a fully functioning facility as described in the contract drawings and specifications. The deadline for bid questions is 5:00pm on Friday, April 28, 2023. Substantially Completion- 669) calendar days ; To complete the work within 729 calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed. 27% goal for participation by M/WBEs on this project.
