This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is issued to provide the selection process for DESIGN BUILD services for a multi-tenant office building. Firms (hereinafter identified as DESIGN BUILDERS) submitting a response to the RFQ will be asked at a minimum to state their understanding/experience to the project and offer their methodology for meeting the criteria noted in this RFQ. The shortlisted finalists may be requested to participate in an interview. At that stage of the selection process, respondents will be asked to include a fee proposal for the work as outlined in this RFQ February 7, 2023 NOON Deadline for receipt of questions and inquiries February 10, 2023 Final responses to questions Grimes County (hereinafter identified as "Client") wishes to consolidate many of their governmental services in the area of the new County Justice Center. The Client owns land at the site and proposes to construct a freestanding, multi-tenant building to possibly house Adult Probation, Environmental/911 Addressing, Justice of the Peace 2, Road and Bridge, Department of Public Safety with possibility of other additions. The Client is seeking a design/build team to create a new construction office complex. Client is estimating final construction to be approximately 10,000 square feet PEMB (Pre-engineered metal building) with masonry facade to complement nearby facilities. Client anticipates the following trades to be utilized but not limited to, civil, structural, architectural, landscape, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, general conditions, fire suppression and site utilities.
