The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for Disc Golf parking lot upgrades at Johnson Park, located at 3999 Butterworth St SW, Walker, MI 49534. Funding is provided in part through a Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The project consists of removing an existing gravel parking lot, site clearing/striping, excavation and grading, construction of 75 space paved parking lot, site restoration and landscaping. Project must comply with City of Walker standards. Contractor required to obtain all necessary permits from the City. The allowable on-site construction period for this project is 30 consecutive days, with all project activity completed June 15, 2023. Dimensions, if furnished, are for general reference only and should be verified by Respondents. Kent County will evaluate, award and contract for the goods and services in this solicitation in an efficient and timely manner. The solicitation will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming with all the material terms and conditions of the solicitation, is the lowest price. In no event will notification of award be more than thirty (30) days from the date of vendor submission. A pre-submission conference will not be held for this solicitation.
