Invitation to Bid Lawn Maintenance Spring 2023 - Fall 2023 Mow every 10 days-no more than 3 times a month. Weed-eat fence lines, along sidewalks, and along edges of buildings. Grass killer may be sprayed on fence line only. Only a 4-inch line will be allowed. Edge all sidewalks, driveways, and curbs. All small branches must be picked up & not just mowed around. Blow off all sidewalks and driveways. Leave area clean. Grass may NOT be blown into streets. There may be times when students at schools have state testing. No lawn care may be done at these times. A testing schedule will be made available. Bid prices should include all fuel, equipment, and consumable goods. Bid prices should be listed for each time mowed . Bid will be awarded on the lowest total amount. Contractors who work for Duncan Public School CAN NOT have a felony conviction on their record. Bidders will be required to have liability insurance coverage-- $1,000,000.00 each occurrence, medical expense $5,000.00 anyone person, & $1,000,000.00 personal each injury. Must be included in SEALED Bid Packet. Bidders are required to have Workers Camp as per state law, each accident. Must be included in SEALED Bid Packet. Invoices are to list dates each site was mowed that month at the awarded bid amount, adding up to a total per site, then a grand total for all sites. Invoices will be submitted on the last Friday of the month. Payments will be made AFTER the school board meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
