Renovation of a residential development in Snow Hill, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Worcester County Commissioners are currently accepting bids for rehabilitation work to be performed on a single-family home located in the Snow Hill area of Worcester County. Questions of a technical nature may be directed to the Program Inspector, Dave Walter, at 410-603-4096.All inquiries regarding the bid specifications shall be directed to the Housing Program Inspector, Dave Walter, at 410-603-4096. All other inquiries shall be directed to Davida Washington, at 410-632-1200, ext. 1171. Contractor is to obtain all necessary permits. Remove existing roof shingles, felt paper, drip edge, plumbing vent boots, and all flashings. Provide and install new underlayment material, minimum 30 LB felt paper. Provide and install new white wide drip edge at all eaves and rakes. Provide and install ice and water shield at all eaves and rakes as well at all valleys and any roof and wall junctions. Provide and install new thirty year architectural shingles per manufacturers' installation instructions. Provide and install roof ridge venting with ridge caps as necessary. Provide and install new plumbing vent boots per manufacturer's instructions as required. Install any required flashing. Install new white continuous gutters with downspouts and splash blocks. Haul away all construction related debris. Bids will be reviewed by staff and awarded by the County Commissioners at a future meeting. In awarding the bids, the Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids, waive formalities, informalities and technicalities therein, and to take whatever bids they determine to be in the best interest of the County considering lowest or best bid, quality of goods and work, time of delivery or completion, responsibility of bidders being considered, previous experience of bidders with County contracts, or any other factors they deem appropriate.
