Renovation of a parking garage in Adrian, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
Project is located at Gus Harrison Correctional Northern Facility. The generator replacement is in bldg. 500, the backup power for refrigeration equipment is in bldg. 200, and minor electrical modifications are in all other buildings. 2. Contractor Note: An emergency generator is to be supplied by the Contractor and all associated equipment to hook up the generator to serve as a means of support for the facility must be onsite before the demolition of the old unit takes place. A temporary, portable generator for backup power shall be used during construction. 3. Bldg. 500: Removal of an existing 475 KW generator, main automatic transfer switch, and downstream automatic transfer switches. Removal of diesel fuel day tank and generator accessories in the generator equipment room. 4. Bldg. 500: Installation of a new 500 KW diesel generator and main automatic transfer switch. New conduit and wiring from main ATS to generator. New diesel piping from day tank to generator. New concrete equipment pads for generator and main ATS. 5. Bldg. 200: Connect existing walk-in cooler and freezer equipment to emergency power system. 6. All other buildings: Emergency power in downstream buildings to be fed directly into the building emergency power panel from the building emergency power disconnect switch.
