Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver ("City"), on behalf of the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, of its intent to contract with Solid Rock Steel for the supply and delivery of Mesh Infill Panels for Rainbow Park. Rainbow Park is a new park to serve the downtown Vancouver. The Park was open for public use since May 2022. Solid Rock Steel is a successful metal fabricator based in lower mainland, with extensive experience, specializing in metal fabrication. The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation is recommending engaging Solid Rock Steel to supply and delivery the mesh infill panels since it was the fabricator for the metal components in Rainbow Park, including the bridge structure, fences and gates, and handrails and is familiar with the design for the mesh infill panels needed. Significant design changes and additional consulting costs would be required to accommodate alternative mesh infill panels. Question Submission Close Date 2/2/2023 3:00 PM PST
