Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Westminster, Maryland. Working plans call for the renovation of a 5,400-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility.

The County Commissioners of Carroll County (hereinafter referred to as "Owner") are inviting qualified General Contractors to submit proposals for construction services for the interior fit-out of the maintenance building at the Carroll County Farm Museum. The interior fit-out is for the newly constructed 5,400 square foot (S.F.) pole barn. Construction of the interior space will include a maintenance shop, restoration room, tool & supply room, office space, breakroom & conference room, women & men restrooms, shower facilities, a mechanical room, and freezer space. Bidders must be prequalified in areas specific to this project, prior to bid opening, through the Carroll County Department of Public Works. Prequalification applications must be submitted at least 15 days prior to bid opening to allow adequate time for processing. THIS PROJECT IS AN INTERIOR FIT OUT OF A RECENTLY COMPLETED POLE BARN STYLE SHELL BUILDING, REFERENCE PREVIOUS PERMIT # C1-22-0404. ITEMS INCLUDED IN THIS FIT OUT ARE WORKSHOPS, TWO RESTROOMS, ONE SHOWER, TWO RESTORATION ROOMS, AN OFFICE, STORAGE, AND A WALK-IN REFRIDGERATOR & FREEZER. THE PLAN SOUTH REGION IS TO BE CONDITIONED FOR BOTH COOLING AND HEATING WHILE THE SHOP AREA SHALL BE CONDITIONED FOR HEAT ONLY. NO EXTERIOR WORK WITH EXCEPTION OF INSTALLING MULTIPLE WINDOWS. Prequalification deadline has been extended to March 1, 2023@4:30pm EST. Shortlist Confirmed.
