Renovation of a museum in Gulfport, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Contract Documents may also be examined at the following locations: 1. Office of the Architect, Eley Guild Hardy Architects, P.A., 1091 Tommy Munro Drive, Biloxi, MS 39532 All bids must be on file with the Office of Procurement prior to the opening time as stated above. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as indicated "Building 30 Exhibit Gallery Interior Renovation" and addressed to the Office of Procurement, 1410 24 th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501. For bids exceeding $50,000.00, Bidder must indicate his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of sealed bid as required by Mississippi Law. In addition to the above, the sealed envelope shall list the Company Name and Address. Envelopes not so marked are submitted at the risk of the Bidder and neither the GRC nor the City assumes any responsibility for the premature opening of same by any GRC or City employee. The successful bidder must comply with all federal, state, and local requirements and regulations contained in the bid documents and contract, including but not limited to E-Verify. Minority and Women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. The GRC is NOT responsible for bids which are mailed to the wrong address or which arrive in the mail after the designated bid opening time. Bids may be delivered in person to the Office of Procurement prior to the bid opening at the time, date and location listed above. Per MS Code 31-3-21(3); any bid submitted by a nonresident contractor which does not include the nonresident contractor's current state law pertaining to such state's treatment of nonresident contractors, shall be rejected and not considered for award. If no such law exists in the non-resident contractor's state, then the non-resident contractor may provide a statement to that effect. The project will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. However, the GRC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality. The successful bidder must adhere to the GRC's and the City's policy concerning non-discrimination without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or handicap. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
