Granite School District is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide and deliver a Closed Circuit Cooling Tower (CCCT) for the Granite Central Kitchen. Please review the attached bid document for current equipment specifications and drawings The replacement cooling tower is to be used as part of a "Turnkey Installation" to replace the existing tower. The existing CCCt operates with the kitchen's condensers used for facility food freezer. Please note the following equipment information related to this project: 1. Cooling Tower: The equipment supplier will be responsible to provide and conform to the following: The CCCT is to be used as an owner provided - contractor installed equipment replacement of the existing. This bid is not for installation. The original or existing CCCT is located in an enclosed weather proof portion of the Central Kitchen. The existing building (structural steel, roof curb, roofing, etc.) conform to existing CCCT dimensions and weight. As a result, the physical dimensions, piping, and electrical connections of the replacement CCCT, are to match the existing. Required CCCT submittal is attached.
2. Lead-Time: Bidders are to include a Date of Delivery with submission. 3. Shipping and Delivery: In order to facilitate installation, the CCCT is to be shipped and delivered in 2 pieces, i.e. fan/inlet assembly and coil assembly. 4. Existing Conditions: It will be the Supplier's responsibility to field verify the existing field conditions and installation. Should any discrepancy be found to exist between current Bid Documents and existing conditions, it must be immediately brought the the attention of GSD for resolution before proceeding. 5. All questions must be submitted electronically through Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P). 6. Data and Specifications should be uploaded as part of the bid response. 7. It is the exclusive right of GSD to choose any, all or none of any submitted alternates. Question Submission Close Date
