Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Leavenworth, Kansas. Working plans call for the renovation of a 1,300-square-foot clubhouse / community center.
Bids must be written/typed and submitted on forms attached to and made a part of the contract documents. Ensure that you comply with all provisions regarding Affirmative Action, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Bonds and other bidding conditions. Plans, specifications and other contract documents are on file in the City Clerk's Office and are open for public inspection. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the office of the City Clerk, 100 N. Fifth, Leavenworth, KS 66048. Name of the bidder and "Riverfront Community Center Pool Flooring Re-coat, Project No. 23-RCCPOOLFLOORING" shall be clearly written on the envelope. All bids must be accompanied by a completed and Notarized Non-Collusion Affidavit and a copy of the "Approved" City of Leavenworth Affirmative Action Program letter from the office of the City Manager. The Governing Body of the City of Leavenworth, Kansas reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. All bidders are required to comply with the applicable policies concerning the implementations of the MBE (Resolution B-664). Epoxy Floor Coating "Re-Coat" for pool area locker room floors and adjacent worn high traffic areas. Approximately 1300 S.F. of flooring and 500 L.F. of cove base. Includes: Cleaning and Abrasing of existing coating and repair of any existing damage. 1) Total square footage of flooring to be replaced is approximately 1300 sq. ft. Total linear footage of cove base to be replaced is 500 L.F. Actual quantities to be measured by individual prospective bidders at MANDATORY pre-bid meeting. 2) Flooring areas to be replaced include both mens and womens entire locker rooms, hallways leading to locker rooms, steps leading down to locker rooms, foyer area adjacent to lifeguard office to include office floor, and ramp leading from office foyer area down to access hallway. 3) Drains and other terminating points shall be prepared in such a manner as to be water tight around those areas, and finished in a manner as to leave no height difference. 4) Finished flooring to be non-porous, slip resistant comfortable to foot traffic. Submittal of product(s) to be used in proposal MUST BE INCLUDED WITH THE SEALED BID. 5) Project must be executed the week of July 24-28 when the RCC pool is closed for the week.
