THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: Provide Fire Alarm Monitoring Services for the Roseburg VA Campus, which includes: One Central FACP (FMS Shops), 36 Individual Networked Buildings (Annunciator Panels) and approximately 2,000 Addressable Intelligent Devices. The Roseburg VA Fire Alarm System The Roseburg Campus operates an Edwards Fire System. The Roseburg Campus is composed of 36 Multiple Panels with multiple devices per panel. The Scope of Work for Monitoring Service includes but not limited to the following devices: Count Description 226 Manual Pull Station 1345 Photoelectric Smoke Detectors 171 Heat Detectors 15 Carbon Monoxide Detectors 150 Duct Smoke Detectors 90 Waterflow/Tamper Input Devices 1997 Total Alarm Initiating Devices 4. Specific Tasks. The Contractor shall perform all monitoring in accordance with the latest edition of the NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code (current edition). The Roseburg VA Fire Alarm system located at the Roseburg VA Medical Center, located at 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd., Roseburg OR. 97471. The Contractor shall provide monitoring and notification to first responders of the campus Fire Alarm system 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for the address location listed above. Contractor will contact the following after receiving notification of a Fire Alarm activation from the Roseburg VA Medical Center: Douglas County, OR.
