Sealed bids should be labeled "2023 SCATTERED SITE TREE REMOVAL" on the outside of the envelope. Bids that are forwarded by mail shall be addressed to the Mayor's Office. City of Granite City, 2000 Edison Avenue, Granite City. IL 62040. This work will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials to complete the following (See the attached list effective January 19. 2023): Scattered Site Tree Removal Tree and tree slump removal Backfill at tree removal site Debris removal and disposal. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing bids. Federal law requires that contractors pay the prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor. All applicable laws, ordinances and rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the contract.
