This contract generally consists of, but not limited to, the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, driveway aprons, and curb ramps in accordance with the attached specifications. This work also includes proper disposal, cleanup, and restoral of all areas disturbed by the repairs. All work is to be within existing right-of-way. All materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with all referenced plans and specifications herein. Sealed proposals and M/WBE Documentation (Affidavits and Good Faith Efforts) must be submitted on the blank forms provided and as specified in the bound copies of the contract documents. This is a nonbifurcated bid process. However, the MWBE Office request that the Proposal and M/WBE Documentation be enclosed in two different sealed envelopes addressed to Mr. Ted Barker, Engineering Division, 300 West Washington Street, Greensboro, North Carolina 27401. The outside of each envelope shall be plainly marked with the Project Name; Contract Number; the name, address and license number of the Bidder; and with the notation "BID ENCLOSED" on the envelope containing the Proposal, and the other envelope with the M/WBE Affidavits and Good Faith Efforts noted as "M/WBE DOCUMENTATION". The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids or to award such contract as in its judgment is deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
