Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Windsor, Connecticut. Design plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
As of November 21, 2024, this project is in the design phase. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The Town of Windsor, Connecticut is seeking to engage the services of a qualified consulting firm to perform survey, subsurface soil evaluation, design, obtain permits,band prepare construction documents for the improvements to Sharshon Park. The improvements are proposed to include drainage improvements, regrading and establishment of natural turf fields and the addition of accessible paths and handicapbparking. Firms responding to this request should be of adequate size and sufficiently staffed to perform the assignment described above. Firms shall have successfully completed a minimum of 5 similar projects since 2014. The selected firm must meet all Municipal, State, and Federal affirmative action and equal employment opportunity practices The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
