The winning Bidder will provide its services in accordance with the Bidding Documents. The purpose of this project is to carry out asset maintenance mandates for heritage buildings: 1. Repair of stone walls with bosses 2. Repair of sheet metal or copper roofing, with canned joints, pinched joints or baguette; or slate These mandates could be initiated by restoration programs for quinçonne dilapidation or urgent repair needs. Mandates could take place at either Concordia campus, either SGW downtown, or Loyola at Notre-Dame-de-Grace. The successful Tenderer will propose execution strategies to ensure the maintenance of normal occupancy and activities in the University buildings during the construction phases. This Project is of paramount importance for the University in order to carry out major rehabilitation work that must be coordinated with weather conditions, seasons and the availability of the construction market. The winning Bidder will be called upon to execute the mandates promptly. Through this call for tenders, Concordia is seeking to secure a relationship with an architectural firm that will be available, efficient and responsive, while offering a variety of expertise in a context where market conditions, both in hand work and under construction, are volatile.
