The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and install jail cell door food flaps in the Henderson Detention Center, located at 18 E Basic Road, Henderson, Nevada, 89015. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 2/27/2023 08:00:00 PM (ET) Contractor shall perform all Work and provide all labor, equipment, materials, paint, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete this project. A. Contractor shall furnish and install 94 Millennium MPACS 200/3P Series Access Control (see Exhibit B, Millennium Patented Access Control System Specifications), or approved equal, jail cell door food flaps in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. a. Install 27 in Unit 1A, 23 in Unit 1B, and 4 in the main entrance doors in Housing Unit 1- 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D (see Exhibit C, Housing Unit 1). b. Install 23 in Unit 2A, 12 in Unit 2E and 5 in the main entrance doors in Housing Unit 2- 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, and 2E (see Exhibit D, Housing Unit 2). c. Contractor to provide slider only for each door; four (4) of the box attachments shall be provided. B. Doors shall be removed, taken to Contractor's facility, cut and door flap installed/welded in place. Re-painting of entire doors will be required prior to re-installation of the doors. Paint shall be appropriate for hard use metal application (DTM). Doors shall be properly prepped and primed to accept new paint including any sanding, roughing, and removal of existing paint that that may inhibit new paint from performing. Color to match existing. Tools will be required to be checked in and checked out by detention center staff each day. C. Contractor will be responsible for protection of existing conditions and all site conditions during performance of this Contract. Contractor is responsible for all clean up associated with this project. All trash and debris shall be hauled off site daily. City dumpsters shall not be used. D. Contractor is responsible for submitting all required permits. The City will pay all permitting fees, therefore permitting costs shall not be included in the Bid amount. E. The project location will be available Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. Work outside of these times must be scheduled in advance with the City's Construction Project Manager
