Location of Work: San Bernardino City Unified School District - Various Sites Three sites will be visited during the mandatory Job Walk: - Ramona-Alessandro Elementary School - Riley Elementary School - Lincoln Elementary School The awarded contractor is responsible for the performance and completion of all items according to rubberized playground surfacing diagrams, specifications and any addenda, if issued: 1) New installation of poured-in-place playground surfacing systems 2) Furnish and installation of temporary fencing (minimum of 6'-0" height) required for any job with an anticipated minimum duration of 24hr. 3) Repair of existing poured-in-place installations (includes wear course patch work) 4) Pressure-wash equipment and surfacing in preparation for repair or surface installation 5) Maintenance and/or reapplication of top roll coat 6) Provide new compacted or re-compact aggregate sub-base, as requested 7) Removal and proper disposal of existing surfacing immediately after every repair or installation (contractor should not use District bins at any time) EXAMINATION OF SITE AND PRE-BID CONFERENCE. Each bidder shall attend the mandatory pre-bid conference, to be held at 9:00AM at Ramona-Alessandro Elementary School Front Office, 670 Ramona Ave North, San Bernardino, CA 92411 on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. This is to become acquainted with the conditions relating to the construction and labor so that the facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the execution of the work under the contract may be fully understood. Job walk starts at 9:00AM sharp. Late attendees will not be permitted to attend. Three (3) school sites listed in this bid will be visited. Please plan up to one hour at each site The San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD), through its Maintenance and Operations Department, is soliciting responses from qualified vendors for the surfacing, repair, and installation of rubberized playgrounds. The District reserves the right to order more, less, or none of the quantity indicated on the pricing table.
