Site work for a municipal facility in Berkeley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

The City of Berkeley is soliciting invitations for bid for Berkeley Marina Selective Timber Pile Replacement Project. The work done under these Plans and Specifications includes but is not limited to: mobilization; traffic control; demolish, removal, off-hauling and disposal of treated timber piles and pile guides; furnishing and installing precast concrete piles, pile guides and pile caps; furnishing and installing fiberglass jacket system in place to repair existing treated timber pile; and other site furnishings, including ancillary work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. No bids will be accepted after the date and time stated above. Submittal of Response by fax is NOT acceptable. Incomplete bids and bids which do not conform to the requirements specified herein, will not be considered. Issuance of the IFB does not obligate the City to award a contract, nor is the City liable for any costs incurred by the bidder in the preparation and submittal of bids for the subject work. The City retains the right to award all or parts of this contract to several bidders, to not select any bidders, and/or to re-solicit proposals. The act of submitting a bid is a declaration that the bidder has read the IFB and understands all the requirements and conditions. For information pertaining to the Bidding Documents, please contact the Project Manager, Taylor Lancelot, 1947 Center Street, 5th Floor, Berkeley, CA 94704, by Email at MTLancelot@CityofBerkeley.info. Questions received after 10:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2023 may not be answered. Answers to questions will not be provided by telephone or email. Rather, answers to all questions or any addenda will be posted on the City of Berkeley's site at Bid & Proposal Opportunities. It is the vendors responsibility to check this site. For general questions concerning the submittal process, contact purchasing at 510- 981-7320 Replacement of select pilings at the Berkeley Marina including removal or abandonment of existing pilings, and repair or installation of new of pilings as specified in plans, including ancillary work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. Work shall be completed within 50 Working Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run
