Site work and paving for a civil project in Shakopee, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project is for the full depth reconstruction of the bituminous roadway for Valley View Road from Country Road 16 to Evergreen Lane and 12th Avenue from east of County Road 83 to Valley Park Drive as shown on the map below. With this project, 12th Avenue will be converted from a 4-lane to a 3-lane section as recommended by a transportation study that was completed in 2019. Additionally, the intersection of 12th Avenue and Valley Park Drive will be evaluated for proper traffic control and configuration. Utility, curb and gutter repairs and improvements will be evaluated and included with this project. Project is included City of Shakopee Fiscal Year 2025-2029. As of May 20, 2025, project is funded for FY2026. No bidding yet. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
