The Town of Wise, Virginia is accepting sealed bids for the installation of approximately 3545 tons of SM-12.5A Non-Polishing Asphalt in place and needed patch and preparation work for resurfacing of streets. Approximately 23,881 square yards of full milling will also be required on some of the streets. Bidders should note that 126 Tons of SM-12.5A Non-Polishing Asphalt included in the total above will be for an access road and handicap parking area at the Town of Wise Sports Complex. Work may begin April 1, 2023 and must be completed no later than June 1, 2023. A bid bond will be required. Envelopes must be sealed and marked "BID FOR FY23 ASPHALT PAVING". The bidder shall also complete and place the following notation on the outside of the envelope containing the bid Licensed Class Virginia Contractor No. Specialty. MBE/WBE/SBE firms are encouraged to submit bids.
