An RFQ procurement packet of information describing work to be done, required services, and outline of required information is available at the office of the housing authority. Project is funded by U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Work includes preparation of plans, specifications, contract documents, and construction inspections, etc,, on replacement of HVAC units and replacement of overhead electrical system and transformers. The respondents' statements of qualifications should contain the information specifically outlined in the RFQ packet. The RFQ should contain a letter of interest and resume which addresses the following rating factors: (1) evidence of firm's ability to perform work, 0-10; (2) capability to provide services in a timely manner, 0-10; (3) A/E registered in state to do work, 0-10; (4) prior experience with public housing authorities, 0-10; (5) ability to meet schedules, 0-10; (6) knowledge of local codes, 0-10; (7) statement that firm is not debarred by HUD or other federal agency, 0-10; (8) MBE/WBE, 0-5; (9) references, 0-10. PHA will evaluate responses on basis of these criteria and rank in numerical order A/E firm must be registered in state of Louisiana. A/E must not be debarred from doing work by HUD or other federal agency. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
