Sealed bid proposals for the proposed Arkadelphia - Slurry Seal Rehabilitation 2023 contract will be received by the City of Arkadelphia, 700 Clay St., Arkadelphia, AR 71923, 870-246-9864. The Project consists of Slurry Seal improvements to the Arkadelphia Streets, located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Improvements consist of 85,000 Square yards more or less of Emulsified Asphalt Slurry Seal Surface Treatment. Bidder must have at least 10 years of municipal work and be able to provide references upon request. Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents at: Arkadelphia Town Hall, 700 Clay St., Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The Sponsor hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to the applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, and wage rate laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. Description. This work shall consist of the application of a mixture of emulsified asphalt, mineral aggregate, mineral filler, water and other additives, properly proportioned, mixed, and spread on the surface according to this specification, and as directed by the Engineer
