The Avon Local School District intends to contract for professional (engineering) (architectural) (surveying) services. Statements received after this deadline will not be considered. Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firm's history; education and experience of the owner/firm. Key information regarding the personnel, the technical expertise of the firm's current staff; the firm's experience in performing engineering studies, design, construction administration and construction observation. The availability of staff; the firm's equipment and facilities. Services the firm will provide (in relation to bids, advertising, tracking of projects, etc.). Finally, references of previous work performed, including evaluations from previous clients with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and meeting deadlines. As required by Ohio Revised Code 153.65-73, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the Avon Local Board of Education will enter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm to deliver the professional services. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
