Work under this contract entails providing all required manpower, tools, equipment, temporary heat and ancillary materials including belt splicing compounds and equipment, and belting repair compounds including cleaning solvents, adhesives, bonding agent, and repair strips to replace, to vulcanize, and to repair belting on an as-needed basis. Belt widths vary from 24-inch to 126-inch and lengths vary from approximately 18 feet to approximately 1,700 feet. No Bid will be accepted after the above referenced date and time. Any Bid received after the due date, whether by mail or otherwise, will be returned unopened. Each Bidder must submit with its Bid, Bid Security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions set forth in the RFB. Bidders must also submit a Consent of Surety as set forth in the RFB, demonstrating that in the event of an award of the Contract to the Bidder, the Surety will furnish the required Contract Bond(s) in the sum(s) required by the RFB. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name MCUA: Contract 22-12-1(CTP)/Meadowlife Conveyor Belt Maintenance clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Bids may not be e-mailed, faxed or transmitted over the telephone. Bidders are required, as applicable to this RFB, to comply with the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.); the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (N.J.S.A. 34:56-48); the Business Registration Act (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44); the States Anti-Discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Laws and Regulations (N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-3.7 and 3.8); the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 12101); and the New Jersey Campaign Contributions and Expenditure Reporting Act (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-1 et seq.).
