The Work under the Contract Documents may be generally described as follows: The Project work includes the following: control of water and irrigation demand, construction surveys, clearing, grubbing and demolition of existing dam, excavation and placement of compacted backfill (340 CY balanced onsite), excavation, stockpile, and placement of compacted channel bed material (124 CY balanced onsite), furnish and install 93 tons of structure rock and 21 tons of Class 'C' size rock, furnish and install structure logs and root wads, furnish and install 4 cubic yards of reinforced concrete, furnish and install 24" diameter water control gates and trash rack, furnish and install 50 linear feet of 24" diameter HDPE pipe, and 120 square yards of planting, seeding and stabilization. Clearing, grubbing and demolition of existing dam Compacted backfill, balanced onsite Excavate, stockpile, and place compacted channel bed material Furnish and install structure rock (see schedule of rock on sheet 4} Furnish and install Class 'C size rock (see schedule of rock on sheet 4) Furnish and install 24" diameter water control gates and trash rack Furnish and install 24" diameter HOPE Pipe Planting, seeding, and stabilizing Deduction for installing Ponderosa Pine structure logs & root wads in lieu of Douglas Fir Deduction for removal of Bid Item No. 8 - Excavate. stockpile, and place compacted channel bed material Deduction for furnishing and installing one (1) 24" diameter Waterman C-10 in leiu of Waterman C-20 Deduction for furnishing and installing 3/8" thick steel headwalls coated in epoxy' paint in leiu of reinforced concrete at heading and sluice structures (provide shop drawings) The CONTRACTOR shall commence Work upon receipt of a fully executed copy of this Agreement, but no later than March 1, 2023. All work will be substantially completed on or before May 15, 2023. The Work will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS on or before June 30, 2023.
