Furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, labor, and incidentals for the Construction of Additional Park Upgrades and Improvements at Park at Palm Center. The Work shall consist of, but shall not be limited to, the following Work items: a) Coordinate with utility owners and governing agencies. b) Project Costs (bonding, insurance, general conditions, mobilization, and miscellaneous costs) c) Provide and maintain required traffic control devices. d) General Site Work incl., but not limited to excavation, fine/rough grading, sand, topsoil complete and in place. e) Apply for and procure all applicable permits from the applicable governing agencies. f) Comply with tree protection requirements in Specification Section 01562 - Tree and Plant Protection. Provide protection to existing trees, landscaping, and irrigation systems. g) Work of the contract is for the demolition of existing wood structures at proposed restrooms location; construction of approximately 60 linear feet of 6-inch PVC sanitary sewer, 140 linear feet of 2-inch PVC water line including valves, fittings, connections and appurtenances, and approximately 250 linear feet of HDPE storm sewer and associated inlets and manhole; installation of reinforced concrete foundations for the new two (2) restrooms, west entry, and northwest entry; installation of a small wood framed structure as shown on the construction drawings. Project Manual and/or instructed by the City Engineer and for construction of the service lines. The work also includes site and pavement restoration, tree protection, storm water pollution prevention and traffic control in relation to the construction of the water line, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer. h) The Scope of Work is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the new construction of two restrooms. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to perform the Work including selective demolition. Detailed requirements and extent of Work is stated in the applicable Specification Sections and shown on the Drawings. i) Northwest Entry Sign, shall include all items incidental for a complete in place installation, including, but not limited to: all materials, footings, excavation, artist coordination, lighting, conduits, and inspections. j) West Entry Sign, shall include all items incidental for a complete in place installation, including, but not limited to: all materials, footings, excavation, artist coordination, lighting, conduits, and inspections. k) Existing shade canopy frame and shade fabric replacement, shall include all items incidental for a complete in place installation, including, but not limited to: shop drawings, material samples, etc. l) Splashpad Repainting, shall include all items incidental for a complete in place installation, including, but not limited to: coordination with artist, surface prep and cleaning, paint, adjacent surface protection as detailed in drawings, repair and clean as needed from painting activities, and sealant.
