Site work for a water / sewer project in Orange, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed and bid complete herein, shall be as shown and specified in the Technical Specifications and on the Plans and generally described as supplying all labor, equipment, materials and forces necessary to complete work on construction of Shallow Aquifer monitoring wells OM-11 and SCS-14A in the city of Orange and unincorporated Orange County, respectively (Figures) under contract GBM-2023-1. The Orange County Water District is currently accepting bids for the 2023 Shallow Aquifer Monitoring Well Construction, Contract No. GBM-2023-1. The Project generally consists of drilling, construction, and development of two Shallow Aquifer monitoring wells located in the city of Orange (OM-11) and unincorporated Orange County (SCS-14A). Monitoring well OM-11 shall be constructed using rotary sonic drilling equipment. The minimum 8-inch diameter borehole shall be drilled to an anticipated depth of 220 feet bgs. The anticipated total depth of the 2-inch diameter PVC well casing is 200 feet bgs. Monitoring well SCS-14A shall be constructed using rotary sonic drilling equipment. The minimum 8-inch diameter borehole shall be drilled to an anticipated depth of 180 feet bgs. The anticipated total depth of the 2-inch diameter PVC well casing is 165 feet bgs.
