Project was cancelled and no specific date for rebid. This project involves the following elements. Bids shall provide design, labor, equipment, materials and incidentals needed to perform the following work: 1. Install 5-ton residential heater and air conditioner. The furnace can be electric or gas. This shall serve the office space of 1,500 ft2 with 8 ft drop ceiling. Locate thermostat in hallway between breakroom and office. 2. Size and install package unit to heat and cool storage bay and service bays (10,500 ft2 with 20-25 ft ceilings. Units to be locate on concrete pad on the west side of the building. 3. Size gas line for both HVAC units if needed. This price shall include installation of gas service lines (if needed). 4. Run single duct from package unit 15 ft up the wall and 165 feet across service bays as shown. Interior duct to be 20 ft above the floor. Exterior duct to be insulated. Contractor to determine size and material of all ducts. 5. Install explosion-proof ventilation as required for 40-ft long oil change pit, 42 inches wide and 7 feet deep. Provide minimum of 4 air changes per hour. Provide two wall switches one inside trench and one outside. Size pipe and blower. 6. Size and install three ventilation fans on north wall, 15 ft above floor in Service Bays 1, 3 and 5 with wall-mounted switches. Three switches, each switch to operate all three fans.The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to study all bids for thirty (30) days prior to bid award.
