Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Our immediate goal is to engage a competent General Contractor (GC) to remove the existing lead-based coating system to bare steel, identify and complete required steel repairs, and implement a corrosion protection system designed to provide an anticipated service life of approximately 25 years for the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge. Structural steel rehabilitation including steel repairs, strengthening, gusset plate work, bracing replacement, rivet replacement, containment and disposal, abrasive blast cleaning, full coating removal and application of new three coat system, traffic control, environmental protection, and associated bridge works on truss and girder spans All questions regarding this RFP shall be addressed in writing to the following, who shall be the single point of contact during the proposal call - Joshua Levy, P.
