The BCSD is soliciting proposals in response to RFP #23-011 Indoor Air Quality (IAG) Program. Bids from Minority and Women Business Enterprises are strongly encouraged. Questions must be received by:February 14, 2023.Direct Inquiries To: Kaylee Yinger. The anticipated effective date of this contract will be March 2023. The initial term of this agreement is one year from the effective date.March 2023 through February 2028 (Extensions beyond this contract period must be approved by the BCSD Superintendent). A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond will be required for 100% of the proposed/contracted amount on the various projects that exceed $50,000. The bonds must be issued by a surety company licensed in South Carolina, with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of "best's key rating guide, property liability" which shall show a financial strength rating of at least five (5) time the contract amount. Each bond must be accompanied by a "power of attorney" authorizing the attorney in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the performance bond. The contractor/vendor is solely responsible for any and all fees and/or charges associated with completion of the background check(s) required herein. The BCSD reserves the right to deny access to any employee, contractor of person caused to be present on BCSD property by the vendor/contractor. Removal of employees on this basis shall not disrupt the project schedule or cost.
