Site work for a mixed-use development in Rudyard, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
Notice is given hereby that Rudyard Area Schools will accept bids from qualified contractors for renovations to: Track Reconstruction Project according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by: Integrated Designs Inc. 1021 West Baraga Avenue Marquette, MI 49855 This work includes, but is not limited to: Removal of the existing running track. and associated field event areas. Construction of a new 6-lane running track with field event areas (long jump, pole vault, high jump, discus and shot put). Other items of work include: fencing, storm sewer installation and turf restoration. There will not be a pre-bid conference meeting for this project. Please contact the Engineer (Andrew Mansfield, P,E. with any questions regarding this project at (906) 228-4480. Bids will be taken on a lump sum basis as defined on the Bid Form. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount. 100% Surety Bonds for performance and payment of labor and materials are required. Bonds must be submitted on the forms provided. No alteration(s) to the form will be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity in the bidding or the bidding process and accept the bid that is most advantageous to the Owner THE PROPOSED PROJECT CONSISTS OF REMOVAL OF THE EXISTING RUNNING TRACK AND FIELD EVENT AREAS. CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 400 METER RUNNING TRACK AND ASSOCIATED FIELD EVENT AREAS.
