Renovation of a municipal facility in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town Hall Phase II Project bid includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, and incidental items associated with the construction documents identified as Fuquay-Varina Town Hall - PH2. Renovation consists of converting unfinished square footage on the second floor and converting to offices as identified on the plans. Additional work includes modifications to existing workspaces, installment of access control doors, expansion of the board room kiosk, and leveling of four shower stall floors on the second floor. All elements of work not included in the bid schedule shall be considered incidental to the contract with no further payment provided. (hereinafter "Contract Work"). The Contractors submitting a bid for this project must possess the proper license classification to perform the Work elements contained in the specifications in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes; and if selected, provide a copy of their active license to the Owner. The Tow of Fuquay-Varina reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects or to reject any and all bids A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Town of Fuquay-Varina, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Bidders shall provide certification that performance and payment bond sureties are licensed in North Carolina. Alternate equivalent sureties will be accepted on a case by case basis
