The Town of Huntersville (the Town) is requesting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from Private Firms to provide On-Call Property Acquisition services for potential upcoming projects. Funding will be town funded. The solicitation and selection of these services shall be conducted in accordance with the State guidelines and the Town's standards and terms. The Town of Huntersville may select up to three (3) firms to provide on-call property acquisition services. Any contract that is awarded shall be for an initial period up to two (2) years commencing with a Notice of Award. Individual project assignments will be determined at the discretion of the Town. Utilization of any selected firm is at the discretion of the Town. The initial amount of each task order shall not exceed a total of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00). In the event completion of a specific Work Task will exceed $150,000.00, the total amount of the contract may be increased by mutual written agreement of the parties. Work under a contract shall be assigned on an as-needed basis to be determined by the Town in its sole and absolute discretion. Contract award does not authorize Notice to Proceed (NTP). Should a contract be activated, the Town will issue a formal NTP on a task order basis. After firm(s) are selected, selected firms will submit pricing proposals for specific projects when contacted. Meetings with individual Town staff members are prohibited due to current staff workload.
